In the 2018 film Halloween, Audrey Harris is the daughter of Laurie Strode. After Michael Myers escapes from Smith's Grove Sanitarium and returns to Haddonfield for another killing spree, he encounters Laurie, who has been living in fear of his return. Audrey, along with her daughter Allyson, helps Laurie trap Michael in the basement of her house. They then set the house on fire. Michael is heard breathing at the end of the credits, indicating that he survived. In the direct sequel Halloween Kills, Michael escapes the burning house when the fire department arrives to stop the blaze.
In Their Own Story
The night was chaos. Michael Myers had returned to Haddonfield after forty years. Audrey Harris, daughter of Laurie Strode, found herself in the middle of her mother's long-prepared confrontation. Laurie had shot off two of Michael's fingers. With the help of Audrey and her granddaughter Allyson, they managed to trap Michael in the basement of Laurie's house. They then set the house on fire. As the flames rose, they believed it was over. But at the end of the credits, Michael's breathing could be heard, indicating he survived. In Halloween Kills, Michael escapes the burning house when the fire department arrives to stop the blaze before it becomes too intense.
