The mansion is inhabited by a Ghost Host, several ghosts, singing busts, and the ghost of Constance Hatchaway, who plans to marry and kill Pepe.

The mansion contains Room 999, where Gonzo faces his fears — the room's number sign turns upside down to read '666' — and he begins to age as his reflection taunts him.
